Next phase of Churchill Gardens major works: More details and residents’ meeting

CityWest Homes have confirmed more details of the next planned phase of major works at Churchill Gardens. The blocks included are: Chaucer, Coleridge, De Quincey, Erskine, Gifford, Keats, Langdale, Russell, Selden and Shelley Houses. The start date is planned for February 2019.

Not all blocks are getting every aspect of major works – please see this table on CityWest Homes’ website for details of what works will be carried out on each block.

The Scope of Works include:
External decorations
Internal decorations
Window repairs
Structural/concrete/brickwork repairs
Asphalt repair or renewal
Roof works
Timber repairs
Communal window repairs
Metalwork repairs
Electrical works
Tidy cables on exterior of the blocks
Fire stopping works (FRA)
New kitchen and bathroom fans, if required (tenants only)
Estate and drainage works
Roof access and security works
Water tanks and associated works
Balcony works

CityWest Homes’ project team and United Living (the contractors) are holding a meeting for residents to talk about the works and answer any questions you may have. This is on Wednesday 1 August 2018, 6pm – 8pm, at Churchill Gardens Residents Hall (Front Bar), Churchill Gardens estate.
