Following pressure from local residents and Churchill Labour Councillors, Westminster Council have agreed to add more drop-in sessions in September and October for Churchill Gardens residents to give their feedback on the Council’s plans to develop the Balmoral Castle pub site.

The Council currently plans to demolish both the Balmoral Castle pub and Darwin House, in order to build more housing in the area.

You can see the proposals and give your feedback to the Council in person on these dates/locations:

*Wednesday 11 September – 10am to 7pm – Westminster on Wheels, square by Chaucer House, Churchill Gardens estate SW1V 3DW

*Thursday 12 September – 10.30am to 1.30pm – Westminster Council housing office, 137 Lupus Street SW1V 3HE

*Wednesday 18 September – 5pm to 8pm – Westminster Council housing office, 137 Lupus Street SW1V 3HE

*Saturday 5 October – 10.30am to 2pm – Churchill Gardens Youth Club

*Tuesday 15 October – 5pm to 8pm – Westminster Council housing office, 137 Lupus Street SW1V 3HE

You can also find out more and see the plans on the Council’s website and send your feedback to balmoraldarwin@westminster.gov.uk.
