It’s not too late to submit your views to Westminster City Council about Grosvenor’s plans for the Cundy Street Quarter development.
Simply go to the council’s planning portal and search by the planning application’s reference: 20/03307/FULL to leave your comment.
You can find out more about Grosvenor’s proposals on their dedicated Cundy Street Quarter website.
We welcome the creation of affordable housing in the scheme, and the ‘right of return’ to the new development that has been given to Walden House residents following their hard-fought Save Cundy Street & Walden House campaign. We also welcome the fact that these residents will be able to move directly into their new homes.
But we have raised local residents’ concerns about the proposed height & massing of the development – and resulting daylight issues, most notably over Ebury Street and Ebury Square.
We also continue to ask Grosvenor to offer homes on the new development to Cundy Street Flats residents – who, like those in Walden House, face the demolition of their homes as a result of the scheme.
