Westminster Council is unveiling the details of its latest plans for new housing to be built on the site of Darwin House, the Balmoral Castle, and the nearby garages on Churchill Gardens estate.

We encourage all residents to go to one of the drop-in sessions the Council is holding to see the proposed designs and give your feedback to the project team.

There are three sessions coming up –

Thursday 6 February – 10am to 2.30pm
Saturday 8 February – 10.30am to 2.30pm

Both at Churchill Gardens Youth Club, Churchill Gardens Road, SW1V 3JA

Wednesday 12 February – 5pm to 8pm
At Westminster Council Housing Service Office, 137 Lupus Street, London SW1V 3HE

The Council’s plans propose demolishing Darwin House to build a new block of homes for intermediate rent, and building a block of supported housing (for current Darwin House residents and others) nearby on the current site of the garages.

If you’re unable to attend, you can email your comments to
balmoraldarwin@westminster.gov.uk. The designs will be available to view after the drop-in sessions on the
council’s website: westminster.gov.uk/balmoral-darwin.

We are keen to know residents’ views on the plans – please email us at info@churchilllabour.co.uk to let us know what you think.
