Lupus Street

We have asked Transport for London to investigate this issue:

“The 360 bus stop on the bend in Lupus Street SW1. I run a charity for lonely and isolated people (Encouragement Through the Arts and Talking) and we have a group that meets twice a week at the nearby Thamesbank Centre. The bus stop was moved a couple of years ago and people in wheelchairs can no longer use it because it was put where the pavement is too narrow. This affects not only our group but many other disabled people on the Peabody and Churchill Gardens estate too. It would be simple to move it a few yards along where the pavement is wider.”

TfL say:

“The footway where the current bus stop on Lupus Street is located is scheduled to be widened to provide a suitable waiting area for customers. These works are scheduled to start week commencing 9 January 2017.”

Residents say:

“That is very good news indeed. Thank you for all your efforts”
